Public Speaking
Public Speaking is a solo that disrupts the formal conventions of a public speaking lecture type presentation. Comprised of a blurry array of gradually transforming physical and vocal gestures, the work is a meditation on transience, and the slipperiness of language, symbolism and meaning in the context of a lecture. It was created in 2013 for the National Gallery of Victoria's Melbourne Now curated dance programme.
