Shair - NGV Accumulation (Chunky Move)
Exclusively for Triennial Extra, Chunky Move collaborated with NGV Melbourne to present Accumulation – a choreographic takeover of NGV Triennial. Curated by Chunky Move Artistic Director Anouk van Dijk, Accumulation presented five individual works created by choreographers Anouk van Dijk, Antony Hamilton, Thomas E.S. Kelly and Prue Lang in response to selected art works from the exhibition. Audiences were guided from performance to performance by artist Benjamin Hancock, giving them a unique experience of the Triennial exhibition through dance.
Antony created Shair for the event, a playful response to the NENDO Tokyo Design Studio Manga Chairs installation.
